Create a tiny zine and transform it into a unique addition to your junk journal during this creative, hands-on workshop. A zine (pronounced “zeen”) is a miniature self-published booklet that can be filled with artwork, journaling, lists, memories, collage, poetry, or anything else that inspires you. We’ll begin by learning how to fold and create a simple one-sheet mini zine before exploring different ways to personalize it using collage materials, papers, stickers, stamps, and ephemera.

Each attendee will receive a curated pack of coordinating supplies, plus a library card-style pocket that can be incorporated directly into a junk journal spread to hold and display their finished zine. Whether you use your zine to tell a story, document a favorite memory, create a themed collage, or simply experiment with creativity, you’ll leave with a crafted zine and plenty of ideas for future zine-making projects.
