“The word means fragment or piece, and I really like the sound of the word. In a sense, all of Yohaku’s works are fragments of me, and each and every one of them is a fragment of what I love. I’ve always loved the same things, and the things I’ve come to love have remained unchanged. Each of the motifs that I’ve focused on creating is a precious fragment and a treasure to me. I usually layer and collage, but I also really like arranging motifs. I could gaze at them forever.”
